We want Strive Youth to be a place full of “your people,” but we want those people to always be expanding in numbers as we welcome more and more to be a part of our family! We want everyone that walks through the doors to belong, and want to be a part of what God is doing through Strive Youth!

FIRST WEDNESDAY
STRIVE TRIBE NIGHT IS OUR MONTHLY SMALL GROUP NIGHT. DUE TO COVID-19: WE WILL BE MAKING SOME CHANGES TO WHERE WE HOST TRIBE NIGHT. ALL TRIBE NIGHTS WILL BE HOSTED AT THE FLC.

a message from Pastor Seth

When God put the word Strive on my heart, overtime He showed me it was more than just a word or name, but it’s a mentality that He wants us to live by.
We live in a broken world, and that's exactly why Jesus came: So that we would have an opportunity as we go through our lives to transform more and more into who God originally created us to be.
Yet, so many people have become more comfortable in their brokenness than they are desperate enough to see Jesus bring the good out of it!
So many people choose to run in the same place, in the midst of the same brokenness…instead of striving to see Jesus do something awesome with and through it!
So many people, just try to survive through life: When according to John 10:10, Jesus came to give us an abundant life!
He doesn’t just want to see us go through life and survive: But He wants us to STRIVE.
He wants us, in every area, and in everything we do in our lives: To have what I like to call STRIVETALITY (Strive-Mentality).
In fact, Jesus modeled it for us:
Hebrews 12:1-3: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”
You see, the reason that so many of us become so weary, tired, stressed, and we lose heart: Is because we have developed a mentality to fix our eyes on so many things other than Jesus.
But when we keep our eyes on Jesus: Who is the pioneer and perfecter of our faith…
Who was beaten, mocked, spit on, betrayed, who shed His blood on the cross so that we could have life…He knows what it’s like to walk through some difficulties, but this verse says FOR THE JOY SET BEFORE HIM…
Everything He did was in effort toward the goal: To bridge the gap between us and God because of our sin.
Jesus had a STRIVETALITY, and when we keep our eyes fixed on Him, guess what?
We can run our race, and maintain STRIVETALITY through whatever it is we are walking through, or even in whatever we have to accomplish that day!
The moment you gave your life to Christ, God handed you your baton of faith and entrusted you to carry it forward (With Strivetality) as you run YOUR part in His divine relay! You have a purpose to carry your baton of faith in your generation: Your race is now, not later!
